Two Postdoc Positions at UniSR in Milan [Deadline: 25 May!]
Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (UniSR) in Milan is inviting applications for two full-time postdoctoral research fellows within PERITIA on “Behavioural tools for building trust” at the Faculty of Philosophy. Candidates must hold a degree in Philosophy, Economics, Cognitive Sciences or Psychology, studying trusting behaviour towards science institutions and authorities.

POSITION A: 12 months fellowship for collaboration to research activities in the scientific area of Logic and Philosophy of Science
Profile and Evaluation Criteria
Candidates must hold a degree in Philosophy, Economics, Cognitive Sciences or Psychology. The work package for which the candidate will contribute investigates the emotional and cognitive components of trusting behaviour. It uses lab based behavioural studies to investigate the determinants of judgements of trust and trustworthiness by members of the public and to test the findings of phase 1 of the PEriTiA project.
The fellow will develop and implement experimental protocols to study trusting behaviour towards science institutions and authorities.

Employment Terms and Conditions
The selected candidate will be appointed as a research fellow (known as “assegnista di ricerca”) for a period of one year (12 months). The fellowship (known as “assegno di ricerca”) is tax free under Italian legislation; only social charges apply. The gross amount of the fellowship is € 25.050. The selected candidate will collaborate with other project members, including the work packages in Paris and Dublin. POSITION B: 18 months fellowship for collaboration to research activities in the scientific area of Logic and Philosophy of Science

Institutional Embedding
Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan is a small private university in Milan, with three faculties (Philosophy, Medicine and Psychology). The candidates will be embedded in two interfaculty research centres, the Centre for Applied and Experimental Epistemology and the E.ON Customer Behavior Lab, both working at the intersection between behavioural science, philosophy, economics and psychology.

The application must include the Annex A to the call (Allegato A) in PDF format, and a valid Identification Document. The PEC e-mail address can only receive e-mails sent by other PEC e-mails. E-mails sent by non-certified e-mail addresses will not be valid. The documents to be attached to the application, indicated in the following section, should be sent via registered mail following the procedure described in point 1.

Academic and professional certificates and qualifications can be submitted in original form or, for European Union citizens and Non-EU citizens entitled on the basis of applicable law, in certified copies or can be self-certificated (see Annex B – Allegato B to the call). Non-EU citizens not entitled to provide self-certification under DPR n. 445/2000, should submit certificates and diplomas issued by their national authorities, including the translation to Italian certified by Italian Consulate attesting that it conforms to the original. Certificates or diplomas in languages other than Italian, French, English, German and Spanish, should enclose, to be evaluated, a certified translation to Italian certified by Italian Consulate attesting that the translation conforms to the original.
